Heres my Bucket! Lets see how we do it!
Process
Firstly following the tutorial, I import the picture, and using the picture as a guide, I set the points and drew out the outline using the CV curve tools, although is not really perfect, but is still quite nicely done.
Next, I move it upright, and using the revolve tool where I set the settings according to the tuorial I manage to made it into a fine looking bucket! Kind of interesting!
After adding some colour effects using Blinn or Lambert (I choose Blinn) Looks nice!
Next will be doing the handle, first I start by extruding both parts of the side of the bucket.
This is how it looks like after I bevel it.
And then after boolean it with the cylinder it became like this.
Next would be during the screw for the bucket sides, which consist of using the CV Curve tool to set the points and revolve it, like how we do for the bucket.
Using the soft modification tools I manage to complete the handle and connect it to the bucket.
Adding some colour to it. And thats how I finish my bucket.
Technique
I feel that there are different techniques contributing to creating the bucket. One of the main techniques would be the CV Curve tool along with the revolve tool. Using these both techniques, you will be able to create objects that you want easily. Other techniques such as extrude, boolean, bevel and soft modification tools. With all these techniques working together, you can create a bucket of your choice.
Reflection
Overall, I kind of enjoy doing the buckets. Although at moments I will get frustrated because of some of the instruction which I don't quite understand which I have to read it over and over again to finally understand it and also encountering some errors in making the bucket, but in the end I manage to overcome it and finish my bucket. The hardest part of this exercise would be creating of the handle, which took me hours to complete it. But once I manage to complete it, theres a sense of achievement in it after hours of doing as I have done my very best to finish it. I am happy too as I have finish one of the task and there is one less work to be done.
